Akin Akinboyowa is the Founder and Principal Partner of Akin Akinboyowa & Co., Barristers and Solicitors.
He earned his LL.B from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, graduating with a Second Class Upper Division and ranking among the top 15% of his class. He proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Bagauda Kano Campus for his postgraduate legal training and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016.
Akin began his legal career in Lagos State and has since handled matters across multiple jurisdictions, including Ogun State, the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja), Ekiti, Oyo, Ondo, Kogi, Kwara, and Osun State. His practice is defined by practical, results-driven advocacy and a strong commitment to delivering meaningful solutions for clients.
In 2022, he founded Akin Akinboyowa & Co. as a full-service law firm with a clear mission: to make the law accessible. Having observed that many clients in Lagos felt overwhelmed by complex legal jargon, Akin built a firm where strong legal research is paired with clear, plain-language communication. Fola earned her LL.B from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (Class of 2019) and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2022 after completing her training at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus. She graduated with a Second Class Upper Division, ranking in the top 13.56% of her class.
She combines strong advocacy skills with clear, plain-language communication and genuine empathy.
